The Challenge

When the client approached us, they were facing three major hurdles:

  • The social media content had to be built hand-in-hand with the product shoot, ensuring visuals were versatile and launch-ready.
  • The team had just 15 days to complete planning, execution, and delivery ahead of the official launch.

Our Strategy

We approached the challenge with a streamlined process:

  1. Planning & Scouting

    • Identified models who fit the brand’s urban, everyday aesthetic.
    • Selected locations & props that reflected casual, on-the-go lifestyles to highlight comfort and affordability.

  2. Product Shoot & Content Capture

    • Captured both product-focused shots (to showcase details and design) and lifestyle imagery (to show comfort in action).
    • Built versatility into every frame so the same shoot could power both ads and organic social content.

  3. Social Media Content Calendar

    • Developed a one-month plan mixing hero product posts, lifestyle visuals, and engaging short-form content.
    • Balanced premium aesthetics with approachable messaging to highlight the shoes as both stylish and budget-friendly.

Execution

  • Conducted model scouting and curated lifestyle-driven locations & props to align with the brand’s casual, urban aesthetic.
  • Executed a versatile product shoot capturing both detailed footwear shots and lifestyle imagery for ads and organic content.
  • Designed a one-month social media content plan that balanced premium visuals with approachable messaging to highlight comfort and affordability.

Results

  • Delivered a complete content bank and one-month social calendar within 15 days.
  • Built a visually cohesive feed that made the brand look aspirational while emphasizing everyday comfort and affordability.
  • Created content that was flexible enough for launch campaigns and long-term use.

Key Takeaway

When launching in a competitive category like footwear, comfort and affordability need to be shown as well as told. By blending aspirational photography with relatable storytelling, LYDC London was able to launch quickly while still looking premium and approachable to its target audience.
